Glad to hear about the job! Now, that's a personal milestone - especially in today's job market  Smiley

What kind of work are you doing now?

Pretty much the same as I had been doing...in IT still, as a contractor at a Federal agency.

I was in Atlanta before, for 10 years.  And ya, new job in the DC area.  Since February...just in time for the major snowstorms and now for the record heatwave.  Lovely.

Hey, back KIND of on topic, personal milestone:  I think I got rejected by a woman at a bar tonight for about the 10,000th time!  How awesome is that?!   Grin

Wow.  Must be a busy summer for everyone.  Tooooooooooooo quiet here lately.....spooky......

Finally passed 1 million in Collatz Conjecture. It's my sixth project over a million. Not sure where I'll be going next but it will definitely be a while before I get another million plus project. Between hardware failures and 100 degree weather, I'm only running 6 cores at the moment and I might take it down to 2 cores if this heat keeps up.

How's everybody doing out there? It's awfully quiet in here.

Nicely Done!

Hope it cools off a bit for you.  I've also been cutting back as the weather gets hotter.  We had a great summer day on Saturday -- mid-80s with low humidity and cooling to the mid-60's at night.  Now we're back to H3 - hazy, hot and humid.

I know we've had some ugly weather this year in the DC area, but when I see the reports of 100 degrees plus and wildfires in Russia, and unusual monsoon season floods in Pakistan, I know things are off-kilter.
