The plan is being set into motion on SETI...  

They recently updated the SETI Classic stats to the SETI BOINC pages again and have been resolving account differences.  The next step is to turn off the distribution of WUs and then let the last results come back before finally shutting off CLASSIC.  

Final shut off is no earlier than 1 APR, but may not be a lot later either.

I will see if I can compile the client to work on the Commodore 64 cluster. If you suddenly see their stats double, you'll know it took... :D

I second that. I would like to be one of those many people that was there from the beginning to the end. Put this project an end. Heck I thought it was supposed to be a year or 2 tops anyway

It would be nice to have a viable candidate signal before pulling the plug on Classic. Since this is the first project of it's kind and has spawned the distributed computing 'industry' what better way to move on to the next phase.
