Docking@Home problems - check your machines
« on: March 09, 2010, 10:33:03 PM »

Docking had some scripting problems and distributed some WU's which run for as much as 50+ hours without ever properly initializing and actually doing work. IIRC, I had one that was up to 80+ hours.  They seem to have been distributed on the 7th or earlier. You might want to check your machines and abort any docking WU's that have been running for hours but still have zero progress. I do have a couple of brand new WU's that are working normally.

Here's the last few news items from the docking homepage.

Docking@Home is slowly back to normal. Due to storage sortage we will distribute a slightly lower amout of workunits but all the daemons are back

D@H temporarily suspends work generation

Docking@Home will interrupt the distribution of new workunits until the storage pressure is released. This means that tomorrow (March 08), or the day after tomorrow at most (March 09) we will resume with the normal distribution activity. Thank you for your patience!!

Thanks for the heads up...I think one or both of my laptops might have some of those right now.  I'll check tonight...
