Hey, the science channel is going to carry the landing live this memorial Sunday, that's pretty cool.

They have a new 16x36 foot movie screen over at NASA Ames and were going to do live feed of the landing. If it hadn't been Memorial Day Sunday I'd've been sooooo tempted to go. But I wasn't feeling at all well that weekend and I just couldn't face the crowds. The new movie thing is cool though. They are hooked into planetariums (planetaria?) around the country and can share space/astronomy programs.

I saw a special about it on TV this week and it's amazing that the thing landed safely with all that had to go right. Those pulse thrusters are neat.  8)

I don't recall. I watch a lot of documentaries on the discovery channel, History channel,  and natgeo. It was on recently.
