TSP - Traveling Salesman Problem

However, as you add more cities the number of possible paths goes through the roof. It should come as no surprise that the TSP is classified as an NP-Hard problem, with the number of Hamiltonian paths being equal to n!/2 where n is equal to the number of cities in the problem.

In our project, experimental data from both statistical measurements in prairie and controlled experiments on individual plant growth under various environmental conditions provide the basis for modeling. Phase one will focus on an individual agent based model simulates individual plants.  Phase two will look at species mixtures and evolutionary paths in a prairie ecosystem.
