Run the Boinc CPU benchmark on one of these and post it...  (I assume you have one of these).  I'd like to see what vista home premium does.

Greg...

Here are my three on boincstats (all are Q6600's)...

Vista (32 bit)

Fedora 8 64 bit

Bob

how do you drill down to host stats?  ???

@ dag -- my floor is a long way from Colorado, but if you get booted this far you're welcome to camp out.  Have to second Bob's reaction -- definitely LOL!

@ Phoenix -- look under your stats for combined BOINC, about halfway down the list, just below the box for setting your credit target.  You can also find it under your stats for any given project.

I know all about that...  Sometimes I just can't resist...  I guess another couple of weeks of soup and cheap beer....

I might build another quad specifically to overclock...  or modify an existing one.  That being said I am seeing that the AMD Phenoms are doing pretty well performance wise.

I need to think about it and fight the urge a bit harder, there are other things that might are a bit more pressing than a rabid hobby.  Nonetheless I'll post a material list and some marks if I go that route.

BTW, it's on.  I went squirrel hunting with my .22 yesterday, a few jihadi squirrels won't be coming home to Pete's for more training...  :rifle:
